Planning an awesome Bratz Birthday Party and need ideas and party supplies? From our friends at Celebrate Express comes these great tips, along with the perfect Bratz Birthday Party Supplies to make your job a lot easier (and the birthday party a smashing success!)

 Bratz Party Tips

1. Mail invitations two weeks before the party date.

2. Plan a safe, comfortable place for the party where the children can have fun, but will not hurt themselves or your home. If planning an outdoor party be sure to have a backup plan in case of bad weather.

3. Limit the party time to two hours or less for children under six years of age. Up to three hours is fine for older children.

4. Prepare more activities than you plan to use in advance. Activities often take less time than planned and you may want to keep the children busy.

5. Include the birthday child in preparations as often as possible. Let him or her stuff the party favor bags, make suggestions for games, help with the decorations, set the table, and mail the invitations – even if that only means putting them in the mailbox.

Fun Activities

Ailani’s Awesome Purse Puzzle
Supplies:
- purse
- 15-20 fashion items (examples below)

This is a fun party game to do as guests arrive. Fill a pretty purse with 15-20 fashionable items (Lil’ Bratz dolls, jewelry, lip gloss, cellphone, hairbrush, comb, etc.). Blindfold teams of 2 kids at a time and invite them to feel around in the purse for the different objects. Alert them to not say what’s in the purse, but to try and remember as many items as possible. Then give every team a pencil and paper, and invite them to find a secret spot together to write down everything they think was in the purse. The team that guesses the most correct items wins.

Super-sweet Style Contest
In this fun game the stylists (not the stars) compete for the winning prize.
Supplies:
- an instant camera and a timing device
- make-up, brushes, combs, gel and hair accessories

Take instant pictures of each child and set aside. Pair up the girls and supply them with make-up and hair styling items. One child in each pair will be the party star, the other the party stylist. Give everyone a 15-minute time limit. When you announce, “It’s stylin’ time!” party stylists race to make up their party stars before time is up. When time runs out, take another set of instant pictures. Then have party stylists and party stars switch roles. Once you’ve taken “before” and “after” photographs of everyone, have the girls do a secret vote on who they think was the most stylin’ party stylist.

Talia’s Musical Microphone
Supplies:
- microphone (real or pretend)
- rockin’ music
Seat everyone in a circle, and put on some party music. Kids pass around the microphone while music plays. When you stop the music, player holding the microphone has to sing a short song. Play until everyone’s had a chance to sing.

Musical Dress-Up
Kids get to glam it up in this silly party game.
Supplies:
- 2 decorated boxes filled with clothing, accessories and costume items (the more outrageous, the better; big clothes too!)
- masking tape and rockin’ party music

Fill decorated boxes with fun and glamorous wardrobes. Place boxes on opposite ends of a room, and use masking tape to mark a circle in center of floor. Ask kids to walk around circle while stereo plays a cool tune. When you stop music, kids must rush to one of the boxes and put on 1 dress-up item. Continue until all items are gone. Hold a fashion show, set to music, and take pictures for all the kids.

Lil’ Limbo
Get the party rockin’–invite everyone to do the limbo!
Supplies:
- fun limbo music (like “Limbo Rock” on the Kids’ Birthday Party Music CD)
- long, light stick

Put on music and let everybody do the limbo. Ask 2 players to hold the stick level and high between them. Everyone take turns bending over backward and passing under the stick. If they bump the stick or touch the ground with anything but their feet, they step out of the game and cheer on the sidelines. After all players have had a turn, the stick is lowered and everyone tries again. Continue to lower the stick each round until there’s only 1 player left.

Cute Lil’ Cakes
These tiny lil’ desserts are sure to be a party hit.
Ingredients:

- gallon of ice cream
Supplies:
- several butter knives

Pretty-n-Pink Punch
Sure to fizz its way into the hearts of your party guests.

- raspberry sherbet
- fresh flowers (optional)

Fill a large punch bowl with ginger ale or lemon-lime soda. Add raspberry sherbet at serving time and watch it fizz. Serve in party cups garnished with a fresh flower on the rim.

Decorating TipsSpread your tablecover on your party table. If your child has any theme-related toys, you can add them to the table for a more festive display. Cut several one-to-two-foot-long pieces of curling ribbon. Curl the ribbon by pulling it between your thumb and the blade of your scissors. Lay the resulting curls on your table for added color.Hang balloons in bunches for the best effect. If you choose to fill balloons with helium, wait until the party day to ensure they float well!Use balloons to mark the party spot; hang them on the mailbox, near the front door, or tie them to the birthday child’s chair to mark the seat of honor.Place balloons anywhere that strikes your fancy. The more the better!Gather six or eight streamers and attach them to the ceiling in the center of the party room (or over the table). Use a light fixture over the table, if you have one, as the center point for the streamers. To create colorful two-tone streamers, put two differently colored streamers back-to-back, twist as you walk them to the wall, and attach at shoulder height.

Smile for the Camera!Be sure to take lots of pictures. You and your child will want to remember this special party. A helpful hint: Order extra prints and send them to the parents afterward. Remember, it’s not necessary to have everyone in each picture. Focus on small groups and avoid posing all the photos. Candids capture the laughter best!Lil' Bratz Cake Toppers
